Operations
A Defined Path from Requirement to Handover
Chemical supply, equipment supply and technical services each follow a disciplined sequence, so every order and work package moves from requirement to handover without surprises.
Delivery models
Three Delivery Models
From specification to the point of use, GTS manages every stage of chemical supply under its own licences and permits to import, store and handle any type of chemical, including dangerous goods and hazardous chemicals.
- 01
Requirement and Specification
Product, grade, expected consumption and delivery points are agreed, together with the documentation the site requires.
- 02
Product Selection
GTS confirms the right product with the manufacturer and assembles safety data sheets, certificates of analysis and approvals.
- 03
Import and Clearance
Shipments are imported and cleared under GTS licences and permits, with dangerous goods declared and handled to regulation.
- 04
Warehousing for Every Hazard Class
Goods are received, inspected, segregated by hazard class and stored in GTS warehouses, with every movement recorded.
- 05
Scheduled Delivery
Consignments are delivered to customer sites against an agreed schedule, in drums, IBCs, ISO tanks or bulk.
- 06
Injection and Field Support
GTS crews operate injection equipment and monitor dosing at the point of use.
- 07
Review and Planning
Consumption is reviewed with the customer so that stock levels and delivery plans stay ahead of demand.
Instruments, analysers, detection and security systems, oilfield tools and power systems follow a disciplined path from data sheet to commissioning.
- 01
Requirement Review
Data sheets, standards and hazardous-area classifications are reviewed against the application.
- 02
Technical Selection
Models are selected with the manufacturer and checked for compliance with the customer specification.
- 03
Approval and Registration
Approval or registration documents are prepared where the customer requires them.
- 04
Procurement and Inspection
Orders, drawings, certificates and inspection records are compiled before shipment.
- 05
Import and Delivery
Equipment is imported, received and delivered to the site, yard or rig.
- 06
Installation and Commissioning
GTS engineers install, calibrate and commission the equipment and hand over the records.
- 07
Warranty and Spares
Warranty claims are handled with the manufacturer, and spares are planned for the life of the equipment.
Cleaning, thermal restoration, construction and testing work packages are planned around the operator’s permits and outage windows.
- 01
Scope and Site Survey
The work package, deliverables and site conditions are confirmed through a site visit.
- 02
Method and Safety Planning
Method statements, risk assessments and job safety plans are prepared and approved before mobilisation.
- 03
Mobilisation
Qualified crews, equipment and materials are mobilised to site against the agreed programme.
- 04
Execution
The work is carried out and supervised by GTS to the approved method and the site’s permit system.
- 05
Testing and Inspection
Results are tested and inspected against the acceptance criteria agreed at the outset.
- 06
Handover
Test records, reports and handover documents are issued on completion.
