Facilities
Built for Uninterrupted Supply
A reloading facility that never closes, temperature-controlled storage, an in-house laboratory and weighbridge, fire protection to the Saudi Building Code, and reconditioning that keeps stored chemicals in specification.
Facility plan
How Product Moves Through a GTS Facility
Every consignment follows the same controlled path: weighed in, stored to specification, checked in the laboratory, reconditioned where needed, then weighed out and dispatched.

Operating 24/7
Reloading Facility
The GTS reloading facility runs around the clock, seven days a week. Chemicals are reloaded and dispatched at any hour, so drilling, stimulation, production and injection operations in the field continue without interruption.
- Reloading and dispatch at any hour, every day of the year
- Urgent call-outs for field operations outside normal working hours
- Transfers into road tankers, ISO tanks and IBCs
- Every movement recorded in the company ERP system

Controlled conditions
Temperature-Controlled Storage
Some of the most demanding chemicals lose performance, or become unsafe, outside a narrow temperature range. In Eastern Province summers that range is easily exceeded. GTS holds these products in temperature-controlled storage, so they reach the site in the condition the manufacturer specified.
- Storage for temperature-sensitive and high-specification chemicals
- Conditions held to the manufacturer’s storage requirements
- Part of the GTS chemical warehouse operation, manned around the clock
- Stock planned against each customer’s consumption

Quality assurance and control
In-House QA/QC Laboratory
GTS operates its own laboratory for quality assurance and quality control. Batches are checked when they arrive and can be verified again before dispatch, so that the product delivered to site matches its certificate of analysis.
- Incoming inspection of batches against certificates of analysis
- Verification before dispatch on request
- Support for product trials and qualification
- Records kept under the ISO 9001 quality management system

Accurate load-in and load-out
In-House Weighbridge
Every tanker and truck entering or leaving the GTS facility can be weighed on the in-house weighbridge. Customers are invoiced for what they actually receive, and every receipt from a supplier is checked against the shipping documents.
- Gross, tare and net weight for each load in and load out
- Weight tickets issued with the delivery documents
- Receipts reconciled against supplier documents
- Weights recorded against each consignment in the ERP system

Safety and housekeeping
Fire Suppression and Safe Handling
Fire suppression and chemical handling at GTS facilities follow the Saudi Building Code. Rigorous housekeeping and handling standards keep aisles clear, incompatible products apart and spills contained, so that hazardous chemicals are stored and moved safely.
- Fire protection and suppression in line with the Saudi Building Code
- Chemicals segregated by hazard class and compatibility
- Spill containment and documented handling procedures
- Daily housekeeping, with named supervisors accountable for each area

Integrity in storage
Chemical Reconditioning
Chemicals held in storage for long periods can separate, settle or degrade. GTS reconditions stock in storage, by recirculating, mixing and checking it, so that product integrity and quality are maintained until the day it is delivered.
- Recirculation and mixing of stored product
- Quality checks in the GTS laboratory before release
- Stock condition monitored throughout the storage period
- Records of each reconditioning step kept with the batch
